My father came to this planet a very long time ago.
I was born high on a mountaintop in Arizona in the year of your lord 1876 My mother left your world when she was close to 90.
It was sad day for me, and for her people. Shortly thereafter, my father was summoned back to his planet. I believe he is still
alive, and I look forward to his return. I also believe I have many half-brothers and half-sisters spread
throughout the stars, as my father had many wives.
My father told me that since I was half human, I had to remain
on this planet. This has made me very sad, but still I married and
had a son, Tibock. My wife passed away soon after he was born.
It has been difficult raising a child on my own, but I do the best
that I can. Even as a very young boy, Tibock was an old soul, and
very independent.
To celebrate the civilizations that have come and gone,
I created my television show, Zenbock’s Forté. On the show I play
music, introduce new artists from many mediums and share insights
and my perspective on humanity. I welcome input and suggestions
concerning the show's content.
As Zenbock and The Galactic Boogie Band, I play my music as
honestly as my surroundings allow. I have new songs that I will be
showcasing on the television show and in public appearances.
Other musicians with heartfelt passion are welcome to join me
at any time. The band has become The Primal Blues Band. Back to
the roots of a early Chess record sound, with a taste of Howling Wolf, John Lee Hooker, Muddy Waters, and some Captain Beefheart in the mix. As the years passed by, the band is now The Primal Blues Band.
A more terrrain look has come, and those pointy ears, have faded into the past....
THE TV Program
Zenbock’s Forté is pure Americana. The show features cult-film
celebrity interviews with personalities who share over 60 years
of filmmaking lore and tales; talks with artists, craftspersons
and artisans about their creations and endeavors; and visits to
unusual and often overlooked locations.
The show is inspired by the old days of television--
the days of Zacherle and Sid Caesar, of Spike Jones and Soupy Sales,
of Steve Allen and Chevy Chase. In a magazine-style format, I visit Star
Trek and Comic Con conventions to journey among the celebrities,
vendors and the motivated, animated public.
At the conventions I began to play original blues tunes as the
Blues Alien, mixing video of my performances and interviews
with graphic, makeup and EFX artists, actors, wrestlers and
comedians. When my music performances became popular,
I began to appear at blues festivals and radio station-sponsored
promotional and fund-raising charitable events.
The show made a shift in 2007, with a transporter accident within a elevator at Shore Leave, in MD. My son and I entered a elevator at the basement, with another father and son. We transported, and found ourselves, altered, without our pointy Vulcan ears. Somewhere a father and son, now likely have pointy ears.
Over the years since summer 2007, our personas shifted, and we continued the TV show.
